Having left school, I found myself working in several hands-on jobs including groundworking and garden landscaping. I then went on to graduate from Robert Gordon University with a degree in architectural technology and worked in a local architect's office since 2016.

Over the last 10 years, my hobbies in woodworking and home renovation have grown in complexity and developed into projects for family and friends. This made me realise that I wanted to step away from the computer once again and pursue a more practical and active career. In autumn 2020 I took the plunge and started Houston Home Maintenance.
